PAS68 Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM)
Tata Steel’s hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) systems have been tested in accordance with PAS 68:2010 - the accepted UK classification system for vehicle security barriers and their supporting foundations when subjected to horizontal impact.
Our HVM barriers, gates, walls and bollard systems provide industry-leading standards of performance and deliver superior blast protection from terrorist and criminal attack, as well as unauthorised vehicle access.
Tata Steel has worked with Government to provide HVM measures to protect a variety of high profile sites across London, including Palace of Westminster and New Scotland Yard as well as other significant government, military and commercial buildings in the UK and overseas.

Permanent HVM barriers, bollards & walls
Deliver protection to meet long term physical security needs, from protecting key government and commercial buildings for which there exists a significant threat from terrorist bomb attack, to critical national infrastructure such as airports, utilities and key industrial sites.

Redeployable HVM barriers
Deliver unrivalled blast protection and can be deployed quickly and with minimum disruption, typically for temporary use, on a short or medium term basis.
